Stuffed Apples

4 large apples
1 cup diced luncheon meat
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Glaze

Wash and core apples.  Scoop out centers and chop apple pulp.  Measure 1 cup chopped apple and combine with diced luncheon meat, butter, raisins, chopped pecans and brown sugar.  Fill apple cavities with stuffing and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Baste occasionally with glaze.

Glaze:

4 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon dry mustard

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.  Bring to a boil.  Spoon over stuffed apples and baste during cooking.

Yield: 4 stuffed apples
