Apricot Marlow

3/4 cup apricot nectar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 dozen marshmallows, quartered
1/2 cup whipping cream
16 vanilla wafers

Heat apricot nectar and salt to boiling.  Pour over quartered marshmallows and stir until marshmallows are dissolved completely.  Cool until slightly thickened.  Fold in cream whipped until stiff.  Arrange 8 vanilla wafers in bottom of oblong pan.  Pour half the apricot nectar-cream mixture over the wafers.  Add second layer of wafers and top with remaining nectar-cream mixture.  Chill until firm.

Yield: About 6 servings
