Cranberry Fruit Salad

2 packages lime-flavored Gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
4 cups (1 pound) fresh cranberries
2 cups sugar
1 cup drained crushed pineapple
1 orange
1 apple, cored

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.  Add cold water.  Let chill until slightly thickened.  Put cranberries through food chopper.  Stir in sugar and pineapple.  Remove seeds and half of peel from orange.  Put remaining peel and pulp through food copper with apple (including skin).  Stir into cranberry mixture, then fold into thickened gelatin.  Pour into a 1 1/2 quart mold or oblong pan.  Let chill until firm.  For fancy shapes, cut out salad with cookie cutter into different shapes, perhaps denoting the holidays.  Serve on lettuce.

Yield: 8 to 10 salads, or servings
