Strawberry Cream

Strawberry Cream

1 cup sugar
1 cup hot milk
4 egg yolks
1 cup well-crushed strawberries
2 cups whipping cream

Heat milk, add sugar, pour slowly over well-beaten egg yolks.  Cook in top of double boiler until thickened slightly, stirring constantly.

Chill.  Fold in chilled, crushed strawberries and whipped cream.  Freeze immediately.
