Baked-Fruit Compote

Arrange cooked prunes, canned peach or pear halves, pineapple chunks and maraschino cherries in shallow casserole.  Sprinkle over top a mixture of 3 Tablespoons melted butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cloves.  Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.

(Note: other fruits may be substituted for the ones in this recipe.)
