Chocolate Honey Brownies

2/3 cup sifted enriched flour
1/2 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup broken walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift and measure flour.  Add baking powder and salt or margarine and chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water.  Add sugar gradually to eggs, beating thoroughly.  Add honey and then chocolate mixture.  Blend well.  Add flour and mix well.  Add nuts and vanilla.  Pour into greased 8- by 8- by 2-inch pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.  Cool in pan.  cut into squares or rectangles.

Yield: About 20 brownies
