Cream-of_Peanut Soup
Cream-of-Peanut Soup
1 quart milk
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
2 Tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup peanut butter
Heat milk in saucepan until film forms on surface. Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat; blend in flour, salt, and peanut butter.
Add scalded milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Return to heat; stir till thickened. Serve hot.
