Mincemeat-Apple Crisp
(Yield: 6 servings)
1 3/4 cups prepared mincemeat or 1 (9-ounce) package
4 medium apples, pared and sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup enriched flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine
If using packaged mincemeat, prepare according to package directions. Place half of apples in a buttered 8- by 1 1/2- inch round baking dish.
Top with half of the mincemeat. Repeat layers.
Mix remaining ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Serve warm.
