Nut-Chocolate Quick Bread

3 cups prepared biscuit mix
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups orange juice
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
6-ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces

Measure biscuit mix into mixing bowl.  Stir in sugar.

Combine egg and orange juice and add to flour mixture.  Beat hard for 30 seconds.  Stir in nuts and 3/4 cup of the semisweet chocolate pieces.

Turn into a well-greased loaf pan 9 by 5 by 3 inches or 11 by 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches.  The pan size is important.  Sprinkle with remaining chocolate pieces on top of batter.

Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, 55 to 60 minutes.  Cool thoroughly before slicing.  Serve spread with parsley-garnished cream cheese or plain or whipped butter.
